Nearly 50 years of seagoing experience. For the past 20 years a Captain, primarily on smaller passenger vessels, and previously Chief Officer on large passenger ships — combining deep operational knowledge with steady leadership.
30+ years of sailing yacht experience and 8 years in the merchant navy. Trained as a dual officer, known for structured passage planning, sound weather decisions, and clear communication from departure to handover.
30+ years at sea across Arctic expedition vessels, RoRo ships, tugboats, passenger vessels, traditional wooden ships, and patrol vessels — from deckhand to commanding officer, with broad operational expertise.
Educated at MARTEC in Skagen, Denmark, with experience from towing vessels, ferries and TSH-dredger. Worked as Chief officer, 2. Mate and deckhand.
A trained mechanic with a strong technical background — three years as a mechanic and three years in the Danish Royal Navy as an engine room rating, bringing discipline, reliability, and technical precision to every operation.
Kris Jørgensen is a qualified metalworker specializing in aluminum and holds a trade certificate as a ship’s assistant.
He brings solid hands-on seagoing experience from bulk carriers, container ships, and tugboats, giving him a versatile skill set and strong technical support role on board.
